Up-and-coming musician Josie Dunne performed at Harding University, and the Shockwave Media Team was fortunate enough to make a video with her. Heavily inspired by James’ Corden’s famous Carpool Karaoke videos, we drove her around the city of Searcy, Arkansas and held a sing-along interview. I had the unique task of hosting, driving, and running the cameras and audio simultaneously. No one was harmed in the making of this video, and all music was used with her permission.

At the beginning of the Fall 2020 semester, I launched a big rebrand of Harding University Student Publications. This video promoted our new brand and was premiered in the university's daily announcements.

Wintery storms in February 2021 left behind massive amounts of ice and snow, and Harding University closed its on-campus facilities for several days. To celebrate, students instigated a campus-wide snowball fight at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15. I took my drone out to capture the occasion, and the result was magical.

Amid the Coronavirus crisis, Harding University shifted all their classes and programs online for the spring and summer of 2020. One important event each year is Bison Days, where prospective students visit campus and get a feel for the college experience. Since Bison Days could not take place in the traditional sense, each department made a video showcasing what it had to offer. The professors and chair of the Department of Communication decided to ask me to make the video using my perspective as a student and my vast array of experiences. I used footage and audio from past projects as b-roll to supplement my talking head. I tried to keep it fun and engaging while maintaining a semblance of professionalism.

Harding University’s 2019 Homecoming was filled with numerous events that I filmed and compiled into a recap video. Events included: social club reunions, live performances by student music and drama groups, a volleyball match, a friends and family tailgate, a football game, and the musical “Matilda.”
